- This direction is known as the qiblah. Allah says in the Qur’aan:
Allah says,
“We will surely turn you to a qiblah with which you will be pleased. So turn your face (yourself) toward Al-Masjid Al-Haraam.” (Soorah al-Baqarah: 144)
- Allah a commands Muslims to face the qiblah from wherever they are on earth; whether North, South, East or West.
- People that are not sure of the direction of the Ka’bah must do their best to determine the qiblah and then pray in that direction.
