Surah Al Qadr (part 2)
(تَنَزَّلُ ٱلْمَلَـٰٓئِكَةُ وَٱلرُّوحُ فِيهَا بِإِذْنِ رَبِّهِم مِّن كُلِّ أَمْرٍۢ ( ٤
In it descend the angels and the Spirit, by the leave of their Lord, with every command.
سَلَـٰمٌ هِىَ حَتَّىٰ مَطْلَعِ ٱلْفَجْرِ (٥)
Peace it is; until the rise of dawn.
The manners of sawm
What do Muslims do in Ramadan?
- Ramadan is a special month for Muslims. They spend it differently from other months.
- They have an early morning meal called suhoor, before the time of fair.
- After suhoor they do not eat or drink anything until sunset.
- Muslims do more good deeds and they stay away from all bad actions like backbiting, lying. and fighting during Ramadan.
- At Maghreb time they have a meal called iftaar.
- After the “Ishaa’ prayer they perform the taraaweeh prayer.
Exercise!
Divide the actions below into things that Muslims should do and things that they should not do especially while fasting.
Fighting- drinking – reading the Qur’an – praying- backbiting – not eating -helping others -lying
