Wudoo
Wudoo performance
- Muslims have to wash in a special way before doing certain acts, such as performing Salah.
- This ritual wash is called wudoo’.
- Allah does not accept Salah without wudoo’.
The way to make Wudoo is as follows
- Have the intention to make wudoo’.
- Say “Bismillaah”.
- Wash both hands three times.
- Rinse your mouth (madmadah), and sniff water into your nose (istinshaaq), three times.
- Wash your face three times.
- Wash your forearms including your elbows and hands, three times, starting with the right arm.
- Wipe over your head once and then wipe inside and outside the ears with wet hands.
- Wash your feet, including your ankles, three times starting with the right foot.
- Recite the du’aa (the Shahaadah).
