Surah Al Ikhlas
بِسْمِ اللَّـهِ الرَّحْمَـٰنِ الرَّحِيمِ
قُلۡ هُوَ ٱللَّهُ أَحَدٌ 1
1- Say, He is God, the One
ٱللَّهُ ٱلصَّمَدُ
2. God, the Absolute.
لَمۡ يَلِدۡ وَلَمۡ يُولَدۡ
3- He begets not, nor was He begotten.
وَلَمۡ يَكُن لَّهُۥ كُفُوًا أَحَدُۢ
4. And there is none comparable to Him
Salah (2nd pillar of Islam )
- Salah (Prayer) is one of the pillars of Islam.
- Muslims have to pray five times a day.
- The names of these prayers are Fajr, Dhuhr, ‘Asr, Maghrib, and ‘Ishaa’.
- Salah wipes away sins.
- Salah helps Muslims to remember Allah.
The Azan
Dua after Hearing Adhan
Allahumma Rabba hadhihi-dda` watit-tammah, was-salatil qa’imah, ati Muhammadan al-wasilata wal-fadilah, wa b`ath-hu maqaman mahmudan-il-ladhi wa`adtahu’
English Translation: O Allah! Lord of this perfect call (perfect by not ascribing partners to You) and of the regular prayer which is going to be established, give Muhammad the right of intercession and illustriousness, and resurrect him to the best and the highest place in Paradise that You promised him (of)], then my intercession for him will be allowed on the Day of Resurrection”. Repeat After the Muezzin
When listening to azan the best thing to do is to just repeat after the muezzin.
